The Zen Minion | Turning Up the Volume of Me

The Significant Other, upon hearing of the minion of magis manifesto, expressed his support but also posed a challenge. He said that I had to be louder than my usual self. Handa na daw ba ako? I knew what he meant. If I want to move up, I have to speak up. I think I can do that. I will not transform into Ms. Energetic Extrovert, certainly, but I can definitely be a "louder" version of my soft-spoken self.

(This reminds me of Theodore Roosevelt's "Speak softly and carry a big stick" adage.)

The loudness will be in the form of substantial presence, and not merely in decibels of my speaking voice.

In any case, I am turning up the volume of me. :)
